Dr Greig Stevenson

Principal Dentist (GDC No. 82001)

Greig qualified from Dundee University in 2003 and worked in mixed (offering both NHS and Private dental care) practices in the centre of Edinburgh for many years where he developed a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry.

In 2014, Greig and Colin purchased four dental practices in North Ayrshire to develop the One Dental Care group - which has established a strong reptuation for high quality dental care that its patients can rely upon and trust. In 2018, Greig and Colin also purchased Breeze Dental Clinic in Troon.

Greig has additional qualifications in the restoration of Dental Implants and provides CFast cosmetic orthodontics. He is committed to improving the practices for patients in the Garnock Valley and beyond, offering excellent customer service and an honest caring approach to dentistry. He is good at developing a rapport with anxious patients and has further training in dental hypnotherapy and NeuroLinguistic Programming. Greig has been a Vocational trainer for recently qualified graduates since 2014.

Outside of dentistry, Greig is a keen golfer and lives in Glasgow with his wife Christine and his son John.

 

Dr Colin Hunter

Principal Dentist (GDC No. 81988)

Colin qualified from Dundee Dental School in 2003. Following this he worked for 11 years in a family practice in Lanarkshire where he developed skills in restorative and preventative dentistry. In 2014 Greig and Colin purchased the four practices in the Garnock Valley and hope to build on the great reputation they already have.

Colin has a keen interest in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry including Veneers, Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry. He has been a Vocational trainer for recently-qualified graduates since 2014.

Outside of dentistry, Colin lives in Glasgow with his wife Kirsten, their son Finlay and daughter Lucy. He enjoys playing a variety of sports including golf, football and tennis.

Dr Blair Cunningham

Blair graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2016 and joined the team here at Breeze Dental Clinic in 2017 after working in dental practices in Falkirk, Campbeltown and Kilbirnie. Blair enjoys the variety that working in general dental practice brings, as well as getting to know all of his patients. He has a particular interest in aesthetic restorative procedures and in helping his patients to smile with confidence.

Outside of dentistry, Blair keeps active by playing tennis, going to the gym and has recently taken up golf.

David graduated from Dundee Dental School in 1990. After a few years working in Dundee and the Hillfoots he joined the practices in the Garnock Valley in 1995. David has been a trainer on the West of Scotland vocational training scheme since 2000. David has a special interest in Oral Surgery, Endodontics and Denture work.

David is married with three children and outside work he enjoys golf, cycling and the great outdoors.

James graduated from Glasgow Dental School in 2010. He joined One Dental Care in 2015 and enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry. He also enjoys building a rapport with anxious patients.

Dr Mark Sorrentino

Dentist (GDC No. 66491)

Mark graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1991 and then took up a number of hospital posts in maxillo-facial surgery and restorative dentistry. Following his entry into general practice he ran four practices in the Garnock Valley before passing on the practices to Colin and Greig in 2014 in order to take up positions more dedicated to restorative dentistry and implant dentistry. Mark is retained at the practices to provide implant and restorative services and sedation dentistry upon request. He is a member of the Royal college of surgeons of England and is currently working towards his Master’s degree in restorative dentistry.

Grant Graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2017 and has recently joined us in our Dalry Practice. He has done placements in Coatbridge and Dumfries. He enjoys all aspects of general dental practice but particularly enjoys restorative work.

Dr Sachin Jauhar

Implant & Restorative Dentist (GDC No. 80722)

A graduate of the University of Glasgow 2002, Sachin is one of the leading Restorative Specialists in Scotland thanks to his wealth of knowledge and experience. 

Sachin is a Consultant and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School. His role involves providing advice and treatment upon referral from dentists. He also is the lead for the oral rehabilitation of South Glasgow patients following head and neck cancer working closely with Maxillofacial Consultants.

His specialist training culminated in him successfully achieving the highest restorative qualification possible - the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Restorative Dentistry in 2009. Sachin is a registered specialist with General Dental Council (80722) in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics (gums), Prosthodontics (implants and artificial teeth) and Endodontics (root canals). 

Currently he is the Training Programme Director for Specialist Training in Restorative Dentistry for the West of Scotland, and Chair of the Specialist Training Committee in Restorative Dentistry for Scotland. He is examiner for the Periodontal specialist examination with the Royal College in Edinburgh and also examiner for the Restorative Dentistry Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship Examination for the Royal College in Glasgow.

Outside of dentistry, Sachin can be found on the golf course playing off 5, and indulging his young family's addiction for Disney World trips.

 

 

Dr Rhoda Kirkland

Dentist (GDC No. 191305)

Rhoda graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2010. She carried out further training in community and hospital settings and gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS). She worked for eight years at her previous practice where she was also a Vocational trainer for newly qualified Dentists. She joined One Dental Care in 2021 taking over from Nina. She enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry and cosmetic procedures such as composite bonding and whitening.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys outdoor swimming, cooking and travelling.

Lauren qualified as a dentist from the University of Dundee in 2009. Following her vocational training year in Aberdeen she returned to the West - where she worked in general practice in Paisley. Moving closer to home, she is delighted to join the team at One Dental Care in Troon. Lauren is interested in all aspects of family general practice, and enjoys spending the time getting to know her patients.

She is kept on her toes by her two young children, but any spare time she can be found having ‘just a look’ around the shops.

Dental Hygienist (GDC No. 5977)

I graduated from Glasgow dental hospital and school in December 2001, gaining the Dentsply Instrument prize, and have happily worked in general practice ever since. As a nervous patient myself, I understand how difficult a dental visit can be for some patients. With this in mind, I aim for a gentle, yet thorough, approach to my treatment.

Outside of work, you can find me out walking with my husband and two old labradors.

 

 

Roz Hunter

Roz Hunter

Dental Hygienist (GDC No. 6412)

Roz qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2004 from Edinburgh Dental Institute. Having worked in various NHS & private practices she gained a wide experience in treating patients requiring routine dental hygiene maintenance therapy, through to those who require more advanced periodontal treatment. She joined One Dental Care Troon in 2020. She has a friendly approach to treating patients, enjoys building their confidence and putting them at ease.

Outside of work, Roz loves spending time with her 2 children, running and yoga.
